Regional Sales Manager for Germany

We are looking for a high-performing Regional Sales Manager for the territory of Germany to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets with our cutting-edge AI products for manufacturing companies. Your work will include sales, working with established sales channels and opportunity to build and manage sales team.

  • Identify business development opportunities appropriate to Qlector’s overall strategy.
  • Develop and implement sales and business development tactics for Qlector’s products and services sold through a network of resellers, to meet market share, revenue and P&L objectives throughout allocated territory.
  • Identify, win and develop key strategic channel accounts – and major end users working with the company’s ‘Enterprise Sales’ and Alliances teams – throughout the territory/region, in accordance with the company’s sales strategies.
  • Always represent Qlector and its Brands in a professional and ethical manner. Maintaining confidentiality of Company information appropriately and treating customer information with similar care.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and achieve sales goals for major accounts and reseller partners within the territory, collaborating with partners to assist them in building their own businesses around the Qlector product portfolio, creating jointly ‘bought into’ strategies and tactical sales and marketing plans with the channel partners.
  • Lead directly dialogues/negotiations with key, strategic end user accounts – bringing in partners to provide the solution. Support partners in their dialogues and negotiations with end users.
  • Effectively manage new product and service offering through all sales channels.
  • Recruit, retain and develop new partners.
  • Implement marketing plans and programmes in support of business plan/objectives.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of internal and external marketing communications to support business goals in the territory and region.
  • Establish appropriate processes to provide timely and accurate management information related to forecasts, market intelligence and industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key, senior level, customer contacts.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Qlector’s overall goals and objectives working closely and collaboratively with the company’s EMEA and other regional personnel.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and use good judgement to optimise company budgets, especially in regard to travel costs

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent level intellect.
  • 5-10 years of sales and business development experience in a B2B/B2E software (e.g., ERP, MES, APS), with track record of selling directly to major accounts and managing a network of indirect sales channels in a multiple channel environment.
  • Experience of developing effective customer relationships.
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English is an essential requirement. A third language is beneficial.
