A consortium of ten Slovenian companies was awarded co-funding for a project initiative called Digital JUMP, which was submitted as part of the call for proposals for “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE ECONOMY (Jr Digit NOO)”. The project will start on May 3, 2022 and will run for one year and eleven months. The total value of the project is 6,650,650 euros, with 2,199,550 euros co-funded. The Digital Jump project aims to achieve advanced levels of monitoring, data management and exchange, process automation and decision support. The focus is on connecting data lakes and cross-departmental digital transformation.

After the realization of the project, we expect a reduction in process management costs and an improvement in throughput, which will improve the agility and competitiveness of the consortium partners’ companies. A central IT backbone will be established, which will improve data traceability and enable faster error detection and implementation of changes. We will further optimize and reduce production costs by deploying flexible robots and establishing smarter data analytics tools that enable faster decision making and fewer errors in production planning, demand forecasting, and tool maintenance.

The Digital Leap project will provide participating digital development companies with a development platform, reference deployments, and better profiling of their solutions. Ultimately, improving their competencies and competitive opportunities in the growing market for digital services.
