Sales engineer

We are looking for a sales engineer to fill an essential role in the Business Development team in order to meet our sales goals for the innovative AI product QLECTOR LEAP that improves the efficiency of manufacturing companies. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle. Your excellent listening and communication skills together with technical expertise will come at its best with this position.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting workshops to understand current production and planning processes at manufacturing companies
  • Identifying customer’s main pains, challenges, and requirements
  • Building, proposing, and designing a solution in a customer-oriented way
  • Preparing and presenting product demonstrations according to customer needs
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending proof of concept opportunities
  • Preparing and providing input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs
  • Working closely with sales, marketing, implementations and product management to share opportunities identified on the market observations and customer feedback
  • Consistently using CRM and following the sales process, which includes ensuring that key deliverables are delivered
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in engineering or logistics preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2E sales of IT solutions preferred
  • Working effectively in a team to deliver on sales targets
  • Self-initiative and communicative
  • Strong computer skills (CRM, MS Office, Google)
  • A customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Business orientation, dedication to meet expectations and requirements of clients
  • Fluency in English mandatory (verbal and written)
  • Fluency in German preferred
  • Commitment to continuous education and improvement
